In community style acupuncture, multiple individuals are treated in a group setting/shared space in the lower level of the clinic. To maintain a sense of your own space, treatment tables have fabric partitions between them.
As this is a group setting, much less time will be spent with the practitioner. If you are seeking an in-depth intake, discussion, review of labs, herbal or supplemental recommendations, and other support, a private session is recommended.
